What the Rheem Prestige system is designed to do
The Rheem Prestige Series is a 13 SEER condensing unit equipped with the Comfort Control System and uses R-410A refrigerant.
A big advantage of this platform is how it approaches comfort and protection at the same time. The Comfort Control System provides:

- High efficiencies up to 16 SEER and 12.8 EER
- Earth-friendly R-410A refrigerant

Outdoor units live outside year-round—so durability matters.
Rheem’s Prestige cabinet is galvanized steel, designed to protect the unit from the elements and help reduce maintenance expense over time.
To help address corrosion and vibration, this series also includes a special base pan that elevates the unit off the pad and away from corrosive condensation. The result is designed to support quieter performance and lower vibration levels.
